Polyester is a synthetic material, i.e. one that does not occur naturally. It is made of a chemical mixture, and after the synthesis of ingredients, it is given the form of flakes. These flakes are then melted to obtain polyester fibers. After subsequent shaping, the desired form, e.g. silk imitation, is obtained. This fabric is durable and resistant to damage. In addition, it is resistant to stains, so it is easy to keep clean.
